Could you do it, as I probably forget to update it.
Treazer 10 months ago
Thought of that to, you could open it now :)
I can make a list of the suggestions.
SimonM 10 months ago
Maybe make a suggestion topic? So I can look back at it.
Teleporters and colour changers might be implemented not sure though.

Treazer 10 months ago
I thought you could only do it 3 or 4 times^^
I think it would be too much work, and maybe not a really good idea, but what about color changers and teleporters?
SimonM 10 months ago
I think numbers would be better, suppose you've 9 borders. xD
Treazer 10 months ago
What about for borders for Jos' idea? 1 border = 1, 2 borders = 2 etc.
azz 10 months ago
By the way my level colourchaos is the very first Puzzle It! collab by me and Treazer.
SimonM 11 months ago
Mmmh, the numbers shouldn't interfere with the links.
Jos 11 months ago
  Numbers on the blocks?
SimonM 11 months ago
I don't like the permanent sticky tile movement. The graphics are ok, but I'll make my own version of it.
Treazer 11 months ago
Maybe a normal wall, just with glass over it (you could do a white transparent color over the wall with some shine). And what about the movable permanent sticky tile? Do you think the graphics for the almost broken wall is ok?
SimonM 11 months ago
I already said I like it and I'll implement it, but I first need to find some time.
And treazer I like the into wall blocks, but I also need graphics for them or atleast graphic suggestion.
Btw Jos where to put the number of times to combinate.
Jos 11 months ago
And my idea? (blocks that need to be combinated twice or triple or... before explodeding).
Treazer 11 months ago
  What about:

Almost broken wall

If you hit the almost broken wall (left) (must have an other name xD ) it turns to a normal broken wall (right).

And what about a block, you don't need to clear it to complete the level, but you can. If you match the blocks they turn into walls and you cannot move them anymore.

And what about, I don't think that's a best idea, but maybe a moveable permanent sticky tile, for the graphics it could be a permanent sticky tile just with a border.
SimonM 11 months ago
Sounds good, but how will I do the graphics, as broken walls have a gap inside them.
Treazer 11 months ago
What about "almost broken walls", you need to hit them two times to make them break.
SimonM 11 months ago
Start playing it, and you'll notice that the thinking process is completely different.

  So many games SIMILAR....

I already tried the shadow filters, but I didn't like them.

I find this ironic how JP didn't note a single problem when reviewing other games but keeps splurting out problems with this one...
jp 11 months ago
YEah I understand, if you don't like shadow, that's your game :) Note that you could try it very quickly with the drop shadow effect in Flash, and can decide if it's better or not. but that's your game, OK.

All very well, but does the other games on BL have a tutorial ??
Also I don't like shades and I kind of hate 3D.
The stop button functionality gives errors when you click it when you're in the editor.
Some features can't be explained in 10 words max.

I'll fix this (except shadows) when I've time, as I now have exams.
jp 11 months ago
I tested. Here are my comments :

- The tutorial is really hard to read. Too much text. On a side note, this scroll button is so tiny that's it's the most frustrating scrollbar I've ever seen.
- If you can't make an interactive tutorial on the first levels, make something more visual, an image and 10 words max for each things you want to teach.
- How can I view the tutorial once I've played one level? The stop button should go back on the home page.
- I still think the game engine lacks of shadows, it feels flat.

You might things a tutorial is a non essential feature in a game, but you would be wrong. The tutorial is often something really long to build, and is one of the most important aspect of the game. The player will decide if he goes on playing on the few first minutes playing. And so far, the game is hard to understand.

I only say things I don't like here, but this si really a great thing you've done so far. Like the music by the way.

The only reason I'd want to be trusted would be so I can edit packs to add kyoto to "skrillex PI"
Ferrari12 11 months ago
Not my exact thoughts, but it is quite representative for my opinion on trusted members as well. Let's say I agree around 80% with Kiethy :P
nachos 11 months ago
  I agree 100% with Kiethy :)
kiethy342 11 months ago
I disagree. I think that when someone is made trusted, it then motivates them to keep on creating. It's always reassuring to know that people like your levels, as sometimes rates aren't very fair. I'm not saying that they should be added now, but they are very important for more well-made and fun levels to be made on the game.
SimonM 11 months ago
No idea, not very soon though. I don't think trusted people are that useful.
azz 11 months ago
When are you going to add trusted members simon?
