Topic, What do ppl mean by "so far" ?

  I saw this topic a week (?) ago, too. But I thought "Why should I bump it?" >.<

  This is the best topic so far.

And my post is obviously the best so far.

  I think he knows what it means, i just think that he wants to know why some people write that about every level on the site.

  Well, say you have five levels, and then someone makes a level that's better than all of them, then that could be the "best level so far".

Here are some other ways it could be used:
That's my best high score so far!
This is the fastest time so far!
That was my best present so far!

  "So far" is an expression we use in America to mean "yet."

So, they're basically saying, "This is the best/worst level yet!"

Which is like saying that this is the best/worst level ever made, but there might be better/worse ones in the future.

  It's a mysterium to me... I don't get what people mean when they write "It's the best level so far..." and I think that the sentence "Best level so far" is used way too much, but that's just my opinion :p
