  yah, i might add animated glow to the gems, so they have to be gif.

  DY I made the template...also when making the images make each one seperate, not all them as 1 image like the template...

I rather have a more traditional tower defence game.

  um...I need to come up with some teplates, really basic ones, for you to draw around to make the turret the right shape...I will also make gem templates as I will use gems in the game too...

  i could supply you with images, if you use them, and im not wasting my time.

  I can't really supply you with GIFs and JPEGs, I'm a horrible digital artist. xD

Perhaps have the gems as upgrades

Normal tower shoots normal projectiles until a gem is placed in it, causing the projectile to become that element.

(e.g. normal projectile + fire gem = fire projectile)

Then the Gems can be upgraded. :/

I am going to remake the entire system so it's like gemcraft chapter 0 :)
I find the tower creating method (tower then gems) very clever and might use that in this game hopefully...
it would mean that there will still be grid based tower placement, or I could do it like onslaught 2 and have pixel-perfect placement (no grid) but might not be able to adapt the same method, or if there is a huge demand I will combine them both! but doing this will mean no testing for quite a while...

  um...im thinking of ideas for skills for a levelling mod for counter strike source lmao

  Marc for a good game, all the little details matter, and trust me, this will look great on the game. Also I could be a twist so that you cant place towers where they are, so its trickier to place tactically!

  well it would give a little twist to it but it will get annoying and it's hard to code...

  Maybe you could have trees, and you gotta cut them down before being able to make towers on those spots?
