  This would be way easier to implement on a per-game basis than to add a feature to the API.

The level wouldn't have to show up in your saves, there could just be one auto-save that gets overwritten each time the game auto-saves. When you boot up the editor it would just ask you if you'd like to load that level.

  if theres an autosave, there should also be a history- which lets you undo the last saved changes.

  Some websites like fontstruct that asks if you want to leave the page if you haven't saved it, do it like that.

  What about having a "are you sure you want to quit without saving" pop-up and something that auto saves as a new level if you leave the page.

  gameinsky, i dontthink thats a good idea, because if your in the middle of experimenting with something (like deleating half your level) and you decide not to save the changes, the autosave will tragicallly skrew you up.

  That would be hard to do...but good nonetheless...

Maybe you could have it locally save the level data so I can play the game with no net?

5-10-15-30-minutes or 1houer (set on custom)
Because it's stupid to lose your (hard worked) work when you hit a bad button...
