Not at all. You can't argue which one is the better. They're different, some prefer to play acoustic (Classical or Western), some prefer electric.

I play both electric and acoustic guitars, I have several, and I have been playing for about 7 years.

Which one is better to learn with?
That depends on which one you want to play and WHAT you want to play. I would recommend you learning to play flamenco on an electric guitar, neither to play melodic death metal on a classical guitar.

  You learn the same on both. The force needed to press the strings to play the notes dosn't effect how you learn, it only makes it easier on the player.

And plus, electric sounds cooler!

  I think Electric is easier to learn with. In acoustic you have to press harder to get the notes to play.
