You have to delete the node that its attached to, then attach it to the next one!

I agree with Mo, and I don't think adding nodes will help. I can attach the first node and it falls to the right. And I can attach the second node, but when I delete the first node my "pole" falls to the left. THAT'S the problem.

Have you tested this, allyally? I see how it is supposed to work but I think it might still need some adjustment in at least one spot.
