  No, thats not aleways true.
An increase in level usually increases your rating power also, but if you dont rate often it wont go mutch higher. Or if you rate low (like 1 or 2) on every level when others rated that level high then your rating power will go down

A few days ago, my RP was 64 even though my level was 45. I rated a few more levels and my RP went up.

EDIT: Maybe theres actually a cap on your RP, it can only go up 20 more then your level, This would explain why so many peoples RP is exactly 20 higher then their level.

  I have worked it out! Your rating power is 20 more than your level! The only person who fails to meet this scheme is Camodragoon...

Since I'm level 14 I will be 34 and so on!
