I'll stick with this until it works properly, then I'll find out how to make a game with it... I have much more patience than you. :P

  I looked at code in flash 8...because flash CS3 died on me(I found that after putting a serial code in DO NOT RUN WITH NET CONNECTION it un-validates)
I would seriously advise getting an official program for making games, either flash or even code::blocks, which does various C formats(C#, C++, windowed C++, and others)

Oh, and you have to unzip files and put them into flashdevelop before attempting to make FlashPunk work... :/

BTW there's also Flixel, which was used to make Canabalt. :P

  also by looking at the code I found a lot of errors, just in the world.as file...
if you want to make games i'd advise either getting flash and learning AS or getting a C++ coder(they're all FREE, even microsoft ones) and learning C++
