Well... my computer is so good (as you can see from my comment below) that I wouldn't wonder if it had made my levels.

So far I have made them myself tho... or have I?

The mouse and keyboard are SEPARATE things. The kinect like thing is only for the mouse.

@DY: Yet, the linked holo-keyboard only works on a flat surfaces. If you wanted something along the lines of Kinect, you would need extremely compact cameras, capable of taking very high quality images to make it just near to accurate enough for everyday use.

@MARC: Seeing how a trillion atoms packed together, side by side doesn't measure more then 0,01 mm, that would require extreme CPU's, which clearly wouldn't be made anywhere in the near future.

also I forgot to mention games built with software specially for this PC(my kind) use the 'Atomic Specular' 3D physics emulator which analyzes all stored surface atoms and if any beneath were to be exposed they are also analyzed
its incredibly realistic and it runs at about 250fps in games and over 1500fps in small-scale tests such as a glass of water

That surely depends on how you define "3D". If I image a 3D object in front of me, isn't my imagination in 3D?

If you then say "Yes, but you won't ever see more then a 2D plane", neither would you if you used a 3D hologram.

Then again... A hologram renders the object in 3D, while imagination just "renders" a 2D plane simulating a 3D object, much like computer monitors.

Did I just make myself loose this argument before it even started? Damn...

I use 2 hands for the keyboard and my idea is a virtual keyboard :_

Marc, why would it need to read both hands? Your only going to stick one hand out towards the srcreen. The other hand would probally be by the keyboard.
No-one ever uses 2 hands to move the mouse.

but it has to read the fingers and thumb of both hands not just a hand
anyway I do really plan on building my own PC from parts :3

Microsoft Kinect just came out... It could be made acurate enough if it just had to read one hand.

It would act like the wiimote does, the curser still apears on screen.
