  JP, what if you don't understand the ranks? I sometimes don't get what's what on the worded ranks and numbers are more precise. Maybe both could work though.

  For now, it's just a number reflecting your experience on the site. It's not used except that it's a way for new members to know who they are talking to.
It might be used for the level rating power, that was based until now on your registration date.

Why not using an Experience level, it's more easier remind a short level than a long number.

  I actually thought of suggesting this, an experience system depending on how active you are.
What is this new experience system for?
Will you be able to advance levels/ranks? :)
What can you use your experience points for?
