  I've been trying to connect with 0irc. It won't work D:

  You can use mibbit, it's an online irc app.

  @Birjo: yeah It's a bad problem that you don't have any webchat to talk, but at least the free mode :/

  The Freenode channel was just a temporary one (which is why there's nobody there), we used it while the whole CentralChat network was down.

Like I said, CentralChat is now back up, it's just the webchat that's broken. You can join the bonuslevel channel using a proper IRC client.

  So, I went to this new chat thing. I was an admin. This dick called "Azz" kicked me from the chatroom...

Haha, I wouldn't say I took over the site, but I'm planning to release Obscurity in the next month or two so I guess there's some hype around that. :)

Btw, for those of you who are unsuccessfully trying to use the webchat, just grab an IRC client like 0irc

Open it up, then type the following commands:
/server irc.centralchat.net
/nick yourname
/join #bonuslevel

  Get Google Chrome, it's much more faster and neater, plus updates regularly so that means less annoying bugs.

  Looks like the CentralChat network is back up, but the webchat page is still unavailable. If you have your own IRC client, you can just connect to irc.centralchat.net and join the #bonuslevel channel.

totallyepicdude, I'd be wary of Internet Explorer. It's convenient and comes bundled with your OS, but it's historically caused a lot of pain for web developers due to bugs, lack of supported features and lack of standards compliance. However, I hear that IE10 finally performs well and supports enough features to be a good modern browser (but it's still closed source and lacking in plugins or customisation). I wouldn't recommend using anything below IE9.

  I'm having trouble with the chat. When I want to connect, it says:

* Searching for irc.centralchat.net
* Connecting with irc.centralchat.net (67.18.176.230) Port 6667...
* Connected. Registration process running...
* Disconnected (Connection put back by the opposite side).

Someone got an idea?

  Yep, it's down.

  And now the chat's actually DOWN. My internet is fine, and I can do anything but be on CentralChat. It's down altogether.

  About time for someone to delete ratman's account and ban his ip from coming here ever again?
