You must register or log in to post a message. The site is made to host games which have the function of supporting many user created levels. Each level is evaluated based on whether the level was fun to play, whether it was good quality, etc. and administrators have the job of deciding that. The reason for this is so that games have a large number of levels which users can complete and enjoy. Your level on Captain Dan vs. Zombie Plan was a good first attempt, and you should not give up on level creation. Another tip would be to direct message admins, rather than create topics on the forum. I was the same as you, ten years old when I joined the site. Sadly, I learnt the hard way and faced user's limitations, which I can discuss with you if need be. Don't fall into that trap, and on this site we understand that you are a ten year-old designer and that you are unfamiliar with the boundaries set. Have a look at the other levels, and see what features they contain. Don't copy a level though, as your level will be rejected for being unoriginal. Please read my comment on your level, as that has further tips, as well as Treazer's comments and critique as to how to improve. He understands that you are new and that you tried your best, and you will improve with time. As I have said, many of my first levels were rejected. Any questions you have, please direct message me. Try not to make too many new topics on the forum. Follow my guidance, and you will do well! :) | GeneralFirst post of the topic |
It's normal for your first level to not be accepted as you usually don't know yet what makes a good level.
My best advise is to ask the admin what he/she expects from a good level and to do that.
Another good thing to do is to look at the best rated levels section, and to learn from those levels.
Don't try to rush making levels, spend as much time as you feel is needed.
It can take several days to make a great level, and a few hours to make a good one.
