I've already started to add a few things after they log in for the first time.
I will add a link to the FAQ, and a link to the forum if they want to say hello.
Good suggestions.

maybe when its someone's first time logging on you can have a pop up notice that tell them to look in the FAQ and if they want to make a level then they should go to the EDIT tab.....and so on
