  Camstudio looks to be the best free solution to capture video.

I've just discovered also http://www.jingproject.com/ which is an incredibly easy to use capture+share solution. In a few clicks you capture (video or image) + upload and share. Then you can post a link on any forums.

Exple I captured this image and uploaded in 20 seconds


[edit] Actually it seems that camstudio can do the same (easy sharing) on screencast.com also.

  Jac1, you can make a google account, then use that to make a youtube account! That's how I did it.

Click sign in, and It will say you can sign in with your google account. You'll still have to put in some more details, but it should work!
