not authrized is displayed when you are not authoirzed to view the message, corresponding to the id. That means somebyd sent a message to you with a random ID and this ID was corresponding to another private message for example that you are not authrized to read.

You can quote any message you want if you right click and press "View source" or "View page source" (there are many variations, and it depends on your browser).

You will have to look through all the HTML code for that page, but you will eventually find the ID of the message you want to quote.

Then you just type: [ msgid=XXX ] without the spaces... And replace XXX with the ID of the message you want to quote.

It should come out like this:Quoting Jac1 from msgid=***** not authorized], what does that mean?
Msgid means messaage id?

Nowdays everything has an id...

But why do you need to see it?
It's annoying!
Should I call an admin?

when you reply it puts the msgid on and shows the previous message. i'm not sure why it removes it...

3 days ago, someone PM'd me a message starting with
[msgid=*a five letter number* not authorised removed]
. Now everytime I get a PM it starts with
[msgid=*a five letter number* not authorised removed]
. What does that mean?

Edit: ignore the "removed".
