That's excactly what I wanted to say
1-10 = 9
11-20 = 18
21-30 = 27
And so on

i get it, your answer will always be 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, or 81. And all these numbers always share the same symbol.
So the computer just picks one symbol to represent these numbers then displays that symbol.

I have one.

first pick any two-digit number. Add the digits together until you are down to a one-digit number. From that you multiply your answer by 10. You then subtract your sum of it's digits. After that, add the digits of this two digit number, and you should get 9

The Number is:
14+14+20-6 (=42 Half=21)
21-14=7

Aha, I've cracked it!

The problem they ask you to solve with your two-digit only has certain outcomes, and those outcomes all have the same symbol. The symbols are randomised each time, but they still give all the correct outcomes the same symbol.

I saw something like that ages ago, but it was with a psychic baby instead of a crystal ball. There must be some pattern to it, but I don't know what and I can't be bothered to sit and work it out.
