  I haven't made any game yet, and I don't really know how it works, so could I be a tester, or should I try creating a "normal" game before learning how to create one with a level editor?

  well the screen is just the normal "this game is in test phase" screen so i wont be creating to many levels =]

  Yes don't play with the scores and don't create too much levels. The prupose of this is to make people understand how the system works, not to create levels.
