No, centering did not help to make it possible, I mean try to take only the four checkpoints near the center, you end up locked in the center...and the same happens with the other four.

Now that I can shift it, there will be a finish per side, so it ought to be possible.

  Camo, the big arrows with "shift level" sign on the bottom left in creator, this is what you are looking for.

Nice level (I have obsession for ice tiles :-)), but - the checkpoints are positioned here so that you cannot take them without going diagonally or using a lag cheat, is it what you intended?

  @GIS, only reason I didn't was because there is mo move tool, and therefore it wou,d be take a long time.

Am I missing something?
