All linking the blocks accomplished was turning this into a jumbled mess with way too many dummy's.

Why have you linked the upper and lower yellows to the left, when they are the only blocks in their link group?

I linked some of the blocks and I hope it will be better now. Actually I thought I had li9nked some blocks, but I didn't :P

Maybe linking the blocks can add a little challenge.
