Topic, Level "I dream of clouds", game "Jump Gear 2"

  Argh that run was some level of incredible - highly disappointing it wasn't 127k, as that is my main goal for this level, I do wonder if I played the ending too safe and could have managed 127.0 or even 127.1 if I'd gone for an extra (risky) flip :/

  Finally landed that 125k - now shooting for the 126k (yes I've completely lost it)

EDIT: HIGHSCORE - 2 minutes after my 125.2k! Not quite 126k, but close...

EDIT2: After a grind of over 2 hours - including a 125,905 and MANY near misses - finally cracked the 126k barrier!

  I agree, it's definitely more luck than skill.

  I don't think you need to try to execute the shortcut yet. You can definitely improve 10k with no shortcut. I think that nobody can really master the shortcut, you just have to try many times and land it after ages. I've landed it thrice in all my attempts.

  Not really, you dont need to do the jump on the upper cloud that Asteria does, if that makes it easier. You NEED to get a power jump though, or it wont work, so jump-timing is crucial.

  This shortcut is hard to master. Anyone have any tips?

  Ugh that's annoying - beat the ghost by a mile, but didn't flip because I thought I was going to fail...

  Asteria-jump is not very hard. it is like that the Asteria's way:
1st phase: jump exactly when you land. chance: 1/3.
2nd phase: run and jump onto the cloud. chance: 1/2.
3rd phase: jump on the first down circle, jump in the last upside-down circle, and make a mega-speedy way in a max power jump. chance: 1/12.
4th phase: the result of a good go in 3rd phase, a fall that makes way to the finish!!!! chance: 1/5.
5th phase: don't overload jumps when you're still behind the lethal lines, patience. chance: 2/3.
last phase(NEW): it is possible that you made a too strong jump to the finish, so you need to be powerfully balanced. :( chance: 1/4
Result: the chance to make asteria's mode is 2/4320, or 1/2160. WHAAAAAAAAT?(approx.)
