Topic, Level "Dr. Tortoise", game "Rolling Turtle"

  I like the title too, it's like going on an adventure except the character is "Rolling Turtle".

  He still has some crazy untieds. One I wanted to tie particularly that I also believe is maxed was a 188 on Turtle's Terrarium (Rolling Turtle). I tried unsuccessfully to match it, though I paced this many times. You got 186 there a few years ago but still no 188. I have to say, had you not played Float in Air (Rolling Turtle) and never executed what still is in my opinion the most incredible highscore of RT or maybe even the whole of BL, his 101 would still remain untied (I’d have never gone for 101, I was content with 100 there - and believe me I was delighted with 101). Crazy stuff. Gary, cheese and goldie had some magic back in the day…

As far as my trial and error shows, 152 is the max for this level. I didn't realise just how crazy of a score it was, from having every single jump optimisation across the entire level, down to the very specific way the level has to be played in order to get those optimisations. Just goes to show exactly how good of a player Gary was back in the day.. :o

  Anything 145 or above is pretty insane for this level IMO - my 143 took way too long and I'd have to get extremely lucky to get much higher.

That is because new designers found their way to this site and greatly improved the quality

2nd the platform under RUN actually moved a lot slower... But I think Asforien made it faster because you had to wait for too long... Now it's just pretty hard to land on it without dieing :P

DFi i finaly achieve to do the breakable part i get killed by the next one...

  Does any one knows how to do the part under the run ? i always get killed by the hedgehog on the side of the platform...

  What a weird thumbnail , why did you accepted levels and thumbnail before that you now don't accept anymore ?

  why did you have to curse (kind of) during the falling floor part at the end?

  this was a fun level but kind of messy and frustrating in the beginning 4/5

  PLEASE put a checkpoint after the moving setions of floor! PLEASE!

  i find a way to do it easily

  You have to get the bubble really fast, and try to go under the bar when the boulder is close, you may be surprised!

  how can you get rtough the part where you just have gone trough his death-machine? it is to slow so i cant go trough before the ball comes

  I think this level should have a save point right after the "intro sequence." I know it's short, but tiring when you have to watch it so many times.
That's my only complaint though, the rest is an exceptionally good level.

  Very nice, but some lifts, like the one under the RUN are really slow.
