  Obscurity already got lasers...

  lazer!similar to sonic colors, the lazer will blast around screen and kill any enimies it hits, or you can place a lazer on the ground and have it try to destroy podly

  Nah, debuffs are no fun. xP

  As well as power-ups, maybe we should also get "power-downs." These power-downs can decrease Podly's jump, speed, etc.

  Gecko already discussed about double jump/bounce powerups, but he was unsure adding it, because of the jetpack powerup. I'll add it to the list, and we can see what gecko says.

  How about a double jump power up?

  I'm planning on adding moving platforms, but they might turn out very buggy. Because I'm writing my own simple physics code, it's hard to handle complex situations, like where the player is standing on a crate on a moving platform.

Maybe I could make the moving platforms more forceful (with a risk of objects getting stuck in walls) and leave it up to level designers to use them sensibly?

  Cool ideas alan, though I don't get collapsible platforms :P

Elevators sound also cool, but I'd just make moving platforms (left & right, up & down). Let's see what gecko says :)

  Ladders: probably won't add those because Podly doesn't have arms, and we already have platforms

Collapsible platforms: you mean ones that fall out of the sky? I'd like to add those, as a counterpart to clouds. (maybe)

Underground enemies: yes, like bats and spiders!

Mines: Yep, they'll make a good addition. :)
