I want to design a custom beat tho; to make it worse, the foot pedal/snare/ toms are on different octaves. :/
EDIT: I guess I will look it up, can't find how to "draw" the beat.

There are premade drum loops in it. You could use those.

There must be a sequencer there were you can "draw" the beat, without having to actually "record" anything.

Problem with GarageBand is that there is no way to record a consistent beat; for example, to record a drum beat you'd have to keep tapping the keyboard at the exact same rate, really dificult. :/

GarageBand isn't really that bad tbh,
I haven't used it but I've heard about it.

It just takes time to learn, just like any other DAW :P
