  Easy, for every 7 numbers there is a line if you do more than 7 it will go on to another row of bircks 0 = No brick 1 = normal bricks 2 = Death bricks ( hit these in gameplay after you have hit the normal blocks you have to use a comma and an extra space like this (, ). Say if you wanted to make a row of normal blocks, put in this(1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1) you don't need a comma for the last one!

  Ok so kind of like binary? :P Also on the last level "death" there was a glitvh which stopped me from completing it.

  We're going to add some Bevel and Glow.

Also, you'll need three numbers:

0 = Empty
1 = Red Brick
2 = Death

For example, a row of 7 bricks is: 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 (must be spaced out with a comma like a sentence).

  I don't know how to create levels. Also do you have any better graphics? :) A red block isn't exactly aesthetic. Also I've encountered a glitch where the ball gets stuck in the paddle.

  Minecraft puts silly messages (as jokes) up on their splash screen.

For example, we can do it on Astro-Breaker and put "Made by a team of Monkeys!" or "As seen on TV!" These messages will change at random every game session and on a member's birthday (e.g. Mine (11th August)) it will say "Happy Birthday [member]!" for the whole day.

Like in minecraft "Seecret Friday Update"? Wouldn't that be unnecessary?

Edit Manu: True, but maybe we could use it as a weekly shoutout for the best level perhaps? And the Birthday system too, to make it unique?

  Do you mean with Message of the Day the updates happend on a day? If yes, I wouldn't do it. I suggest you to use "Latest Twitter News" by feedburner. I don't know how to do it, but I think it won't be complicated.
I mean this like in: Obscurity (Play tab) or in Path 4 Mouse old.

  Perhaps, or maybe link a Word Document at the end of the day to show progress?

Also, Treazer, what do you think about a Message of the Day? (e.g. 20% Cooler or Happy Birthday Manufan/Dynamo/Treazer/etc. !)

  I'm not sure, seeing as the testers now are going to be temporarily removed (except Treazer and Coolguy). Daft and Magic I asked specifically and so maybe when Alpha or Beta-testing actually begins, perhaps ask again. :)

I was inactive because I just finished my GCSE's (secondary school qualifications for those outside of the UK) and am studying for my A-Levels (college-level qualifications) in order to prepare to study Computer Science at university. The workload is harder, plus my social life is also changing so I'm finding little time to come here anymore.

Are you back?

Most likely no. I mean I'll come on now and again to see how things are getting on, but like I say, I'm quite busy at the moment.

So, Astro Breaker is just a dead game?

SPOILER
As you may remember me mentioning just before my inactivity, I was in the process of remaking the game using ActionScript 3.0. Astro Breaker can help me in terms of constructing a portfolio of my work in terms of progressing with Computer Science, and so I will continue to develop the remake - at least, that is my intention.

The remake will include a level editor and if it's all figured out, I will make the game BL Compatible. In terms of moderating levels, I'm sure a solution can be figured out down the line - maybe I will lead, maybe someone else will - we shall cross that bridge when we come to it.

Hope I've managed to clear everything up. Was great to come on here and see the progress that's been made, especially with the release of Simon's new game (Congrats). Best wishes to all. :)

Bricks can be any colour dependent on Level Data (in code, so you can't really visualise this).

Types of Brick are:
- Normal (with strength stated on brick when > 1)
- Bomb (destroys all 8 bricks around it)
- Railball Powerup (ball does not rebound off bricks)
- Speed[+/-] Powerup

Any suggestions would be welcome in a PM. Any updates and I will update the link and notify you.
