The norwegian school is set up in a way that everybody should have equal chances to learn, which is fine. What is wrong is the way they do it. If you should have adapted teaching because you'r not so good, that's no problem. If it's because you're very good, you're very lucky to get adapted teaching. My point is that the norwegian school puts all its recources in helping the weak, and completely ignores the good pupils. Also there's way too much repetition. This results in that the school is very boring for 50 % of all pupils, and for some it is so boring you don't want to go to school just beacuse of it, I'm one of them. All this to help 5-10 %. Then you might think you could eliminate the problem by putting the 5-10 % in separate classes, but that will be unfair, because then they will in an indirect way be told they are stupid. I somewhat agree with it. But the current solution is atleast not good. Some norwegian techers actually refuse to give good pupils adapted teaching, although they know they should have it. That's not good. Also as Im said, we skip parts of our already poor curriculum. This is one consequence of all the repetition. That was my opinion. Some might disagree.
