  Some things make no sense here. Lol, the power of insanity!

  So guys, what are some of your new year resolutions for 2025? I'm going on a trip tomorrow for 7 days. I'm going to South Carolina to enjoy some of the scenery, food and friendly folks there. I may be able to get on a computer to update you guys, we'll see how it goes. Take care y'all.

  A friend of mine had it when I was younger and we used to play sometimes round his house but I was never any good. I’m not good at shooting games either, and any shooters I have played, I only play through the campaign on a normal difficulty. I haven’t got the patience for multiplayer with sweats who sink their entire lives into prestiging 10 million times, I want to actually enjoy my gaming experience, not die after 10 seconds and then wait 5 minutes to get spawned back in, just to immediately die again. Some might say skill issue, I say solo experiences are so much better as I feel like more love goes into the craft. A lot of (not all) multiplayer stuff these days is just soulless rubbish designed to please shareholders and make bank. Racing and platformers all the way for me as well CG, I like a nice puzzle game too and games with a unique concept or storyline. One of the coolest games I’ve played in recent times was Laika: Aged Through Blood, a motorvania style game, a combination of my 2 favourite genres which unfortunately I could never beat, I just keep getting lost lol.

  I have heard of Guitar Hero, though I've never played it! I've played mini games in other games which are based on the gameplay though. Rhythm games generally aren't my forte (although I did play Geometry Dash as a kid, I wasn't exactly brilliant compared to some people like kalina). I'm also pretty bad at shooting games, for me it's racing or platformer games. I enjoy games where minimizing a timer is the general scoring idea! How about you all?

  Have you guys heard of Guitar Hero? It's a game series where you have to press the correct buttons in the sequence. It's on the Playstation, X-box and Nintendo Switch.

  I think the standard themes in GD are pretty cool, but the community went a bit too insane sometimes with the techno music, so it does evoke that type of memory. I haven’t played any of the other games mentioned, though I have heard some music and I do agree with your assessment. Thinking about OST for games, I enjoyed the themes for New Super Mario Bros. That game was one that had so much cool music and is one of my true ‘childhood’ games, alongside the Wii counterpart!

I kinda undersold the shopping centres in my area, because I did forget another one. I do live near to a major city so it makes sense that there are at least two big ones within an hour at most. I don’t often think about them like that because when I think of ‘malls’ I think of things like the Mall of America and its multiple rollercoasters in the mall (I’ve never been but it sounds insane)! I rarely go for the same reasons you listed, it is usually overpriced and not worth it, particularly as I mentioned there are a lot of shops in my town. I’ve never visited the UAE, though it does seem pretty cool. I do enjoy the options of a good food court myself, and one of the centres has so many choices, I’ve eaten there dozens of times and I still don’t think I’ve tried half the restaurants!

  I completely forgot about Geometry Dash, holy shit that soundtrack goes so hard I just went back and listened and it brought back some memories of when I used to play it as a kid. That’s definitely up there as one of the best there is, I don’t tend to really remember game soundtracks that often unless the game really sticks in my mind, and I didn’t really get into console/steam games until my later years. LittleBigPlanet is one that will always stick with me as my favourite, that soundtrack has an insane variety and if you’ve played it, each song goes perfectly with the setting and feel of its respective level. I have a playlist of them all I sometimes listen to on Spotify. I’ve heard Undertale has a good soundtrack too, I’ve never played the game but I’ve heard a couple of the tracks and they’re really good. Ghost of Tsushima is another good one.

As for shopping centres, I’m the same as CG, I don’t really go that much. I don’t really have a proper one nearby just a very small one about an hour away from me, but it has a pretty crap and strange variety of shops. I’ve never particularly enjoyed them for shopping as I find that pretty much all of it can be found cheaper online or in my local town/city. When I went to Dubai to visit my older sister one year, we went to a mall that had an indoor ski slope, now that was cool. I do love a good food court though. :D

  I like to go to the food court at the mall, and maybe shop around for clothes/video games.

  For music, it's interesting because I definitely know what I like, but it's hard to exactly put it into words. I've been trying to get into house for a while after finding some music that was nice to listen to! I have to say, you may know that I have played Geometry Dash since 2014 and although I stopped seriously playing a while ago, the song choices for those levels stick with me so my music sense is a bit messed up xD

As for the mall, it's not exactly that often that I visit, usually I would just go into my town if I needed to shop, and whilst it has a couple of small shopping centres, that's not like an American mall at all. There is something I would consider to be like a mall relatively near where I live, and when I do visit with friends, usually we either watch a film there or do bowling. How about you?

  Ooo okay, I can definitely respect that variety. I don’t know why but I didn’t take you for a techno guy, but fair play. I think my favourites would have to be pop/rock, specifically 80s/90s/00s because I grew up hearing a lot of it on the radio, although I’ve been discovering a lot of really good emerging rock and alternative rock bands through Spotify these days, my faith in new music is slowly being restored. I do like a lot of indie music, mainly from 00s/10s, but I feel like a lot of them have become quite artsy and experimental these days, there’s occasionally some good new stuff though. I also used to listen to a lot of electronic music when I was younger, not so much the harder techno, drum n bass side of it these days, but nowadays I prefer a bit of deep house that you can chill out to, future house, and funky house too, anything that’s got a nice beat to it that you could dance or bop your head to. There’s a band called Lazy Habits I really love, they’re a jazz rap fusion, which is something quite unique I’ve never come across before. I quite like a bit of reggae too, not necessarily reggae music, but I like when a song incorporates some kind of reggae sound into it. Like I said, I like a lot of different styles but they’re my main ones I’d say. My go-to favourite band of all time is Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, I feel like he really evolved as a musician and producer after Oasis split up. I’ve waffled on a lot there lol.

  @Dynamo: I love jazz, R&B, and techno music. Rock is too much for me with all the intense sounds. What are your favorite music combos?

  What styles of music / bands or artists do you like to listen to Chris? I find listening to music very relaxing too and I often find myself really hearing every sound and instrument of a song, I get lost in it sometimes lol. I listen to and appreciate a lot of different styles but I definitely have my favourites! Sometimes I even write lyrics in Notes on my phone, still never completed a full song yet though! xD

  Listening to peaceful music is one way to soothe your mind and soul. Helps after having a stressful day from work or any occurence.

  I'm tired. I'm taking a break for a while. I'm gonna be sidetracked with Twitter and GTplanet for a little bit so I won't make any levels for a while, but I'll still play levels in certain games here.

  Should be easier for those who have a hexagon membership. hint: You can find 11 themes at official levels and 8 themes at accepted levels. Challenging a level is a sense of accomplishment, but looking at level-ornamental patterns is like looking at a gallery.
