Sorry guys, My Computer is Broken because of a terrible Virus. But don't worry. I will come back some time. I am on a Laptop now. A Friends Laptop. I Promise i come back.
@Ferrari, it's cause on my apocalypse level, I made this part that is tough to get past, and right after it, there's a part that's not that hard but very easy to screw up. I don't want to put another checkpoint after the hard challenge, becuase that's a little too easy. It would be nice if the person could respawn there once or twice, but not forever, becuase that would be easy. I can't adjust the checkpoints to be after the hard part, because of the other parts of the level. Right now, there's no checkpoint after the hard part, which may be a little annoying. Anyway, that's where I got the idea. :)
I think the idea, in principle, is good, but it is little too complicated for this game. When a game has too many features and settings it tends to become a little boring. What you need is the right balance. In gameplay JG2 has achieved that balance. Therefor a think it's not so good to interact with the actual gameplay. I would rather have changed some options in the editor mode. Maybe paths or something about the aesthetics of the game that will improve the visual appeal.
Idea! What if you could set the number of times you could respawn at a certain checkpoint? You could have a number on the checkpoint that shows how many times you can respawn there (you could set infinite if you wanted). Once the number hits 0, then you are on your last try from that position. If you die again, then you revert back to your latest saved position. Then, when you reach the checkpoint again, it would have the original number of "retries" left. (You could probly set something to change this if you wanted as well.)
