I always use 16 easier to see size forturtle, 8 for details and things that are impossible on 16.

  16 is the easiest. Try to only use grid size 16 and occasionly 8 when making a level! :)

  make the level, put 'unfin' or something in name so admins don't evaluate, and go into the 'more' tab and add who you want to do it with(ask them first)
