Topic, Game "Hog Pop"

  Any tips I should know about before playing, I'm gonna start the game in a week or two. I probably should make an easy level in creator mode to get a feel of how the items and type of lines are used. The death ones are bad for the Hog.

  @chris I know the feeling... can't beat either of the last two.

@Dynamo I find on most levels that focusing on triple combos is the most useful. It's rare that balloons should be broken not in a combo, and so almost every shot should aim to pop 3 balloons. There are examples where that isn't the case, in order to set up ten balloons in a way that they can all be popped for the triple combo. Quadruple and quintuple combos are fairly rare to the point where I just don't think about them unless there's clearly a lot of balloons remaining.

I can get fairly good scores here, but a lot of the SuperDog highscores are just beyond ridiculous... I tried Bomb Race (Hog Pop) and 285 seems fairly easy to get with a clever trick. Anything above that I'm beyond clueless...

  Well, at least you are really good and skilled at RT. I suck at Hog Pop too, I still have not beat Elizea's last official. It's been sitting in my unplayed tab for many years now, at least 10.

  Nice one! Good luck on your quest CG, I don't know what it is but something just doesn't seem to click with me when it comes to Hog Pop. It's a shame because I seem to remember enjoying the officials a while back but getting frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to get good scores on them. :(

  Wow, this is the first time i've played HP in about 3 and a half years. Forgot what it was like here. I'd like to see some new levels soon, But I know you guys are probably busy with family life, work, etc.

  Wow, it's been a year since I've played this, if there were some new levels I'd be willing to play it more often, I am getting bored.

  Yeah, there's only one level I didn't beat. However, that's not because there are too many scores, it's because it doesn't work on my computer. Thanks for the pack though, Simon!

  it's a pity we can't score on the autos.

  I created a pack containing all accepted levels: Global Pop (Hog Pop).

  That's because the lowest score is the best in these games. It makes sense that the amount of completed levels is prioritized in that kind of games, because otherwise, you would be #1 if you only complete one level and thus have a very low score.

  not every game, i think. the "block" games are the way i like it.

  It's like that in every game where the highest score is the best. Not sure what would be better to be honest.

  i do NOT like the score list. should be first the number of level solved ad then the points. not the way it is now, first the points.

  It definitely would be! I'll have to ask jp again to add gameinsky as a level 2 admin in nearly all games... he probably won't react again, but I keep trying.

  Now the only thing that could make this war more epic is more Hog Pop levels to compete on...
