JP, I guess its the animation. If they start from the bubble elements, the animation starts after any block moves at least 1 space.

@Asforien, what do you mean "they don't move up and down" ? It's one of the modifications of the update : a block starting on sticky tile is stuck for one turn (before the update it was falling down).

I've modified the multi groups thing.

You can't expect people to instantaneously add you if you don't ask.

When will there be admins?

I have a suggestion:

Black (killer) blocks
They make all blocks, except for walls and wall blocks, explode

They can be used to destroy leftover blocks and win the lvl
PS, they can explode, but don't have to to win a lvl

That glitch is what I noticed! It's a editor title screen glitch. the stars are on the title screen as well, behind the blocks! :/

edit: iv'e just uploaded a kids level. I have tried it on my 6 year old brother and he could do it without any help. so im sure it fits on kids. or my brother is just smart, :p

Bump!

I remember playing a game like that, it had bomb blocks (block fall on it = boom)
teleporter blocks (self explanatory)
elevator blocks (transports blocks)
lava & water (blocks can only fall in water, walls can fall in both)
Sticky tile ( when a block is on it it can't move anymore)
sign (oneway traffic)

You could maybe use a few of them ?

Maybe you could make spike blocks? whatever block falls on them cannot be moved from the spikes.

And also, i would like to have slanted walls to make some more interesting level posabilities.

I've taken some of my not so valuable time to make a correction of the edit tab.

SPOILER

Smaller is better :

Don't make big maps, they don't draw well and are a pain to play.

Special tiles must be sued with parsimony :

You are not supposed to use groups, icy blocks, sticky tiles, and wall blocks on every level. The "normal" blocks and walls are enough to make many great levels.

Borders are automatic :

Don't create borders in the editors. They are automatically added when playing the level.

Categories :

All maps that are over 11x9 will go in "Big Maps" category, whatever their difficulty.

Kids levels must be VERY easy. Imagine a 7 years old kid trying to solve them.

i think the ice blocks should continue moving until they hit a wall.

Dear testers :
Before designing too much levels, please add your comments about things that could change the look&feel of the thumbnails.
Read the "Edit" tab. I think we can make small and challenging levels. Kids is for SUPER EASY levels (kids levels on blockoban were too difficult for some of them).
