Powered Start: when activated and died, you can continue from there. Like persistance and checkpoint.

  @Magic
I suggested having paths to Hexicube but he thought it wouldn't work. Your idea might work because it's simpler though.
alanliu12121 11 years ago
To daft punk: yes, thats what i mean.
Magic_X 11 years ago
Maybe a block that moved in a square formation in stead of straight would be cool.

It could maybe be a 2X2 formation, 3X3, or 4X4 and could go in the opposite direction just like spinners.
Daft_Punk 11 years ago
Oh, I didn't think about it the other way. I see what you mean now! :)
A part that would look like this, right?

alanliu12121 11 years ago
But what about the opposite? I mean that empty spot being a wall part and the wall being the empty space
Daft_Punk 11 years ago
@alan: You can already make quarter pieces by putting side pieces on top of each other in different layers.

alanliu12121 11 years ago
Like side pieces, make quarter pieces, not the triangle. I mean the square.

  What about opposite powered walls?
Two walls, one left, one right. And the same with an upper and a lower wall.
One wall is inverted and the other one not.
E.g.

If the upper tile is powered the left and the right wall will go to the right. The same for the other tile.
Hope you understand^^

  Agree with One-arm spinners.

I'm curious about trois things:
1.Most spinners are boardness.
2.Most powered tiles are walls.
3.Some tiles have just unique direction.
Apart them from each other may be better. But old tiles cannot be deleted... =.=
alanliu12121 11 years ago
I also agree with Treazer. Kinda make it Wipeout Style...

  Single arm spinners?

Same like the spinners but with one "arm"
You could have 8 new tiles!

Single arm spinner (clockwise)
Single arm spinner (anti-clockwise)
Powered single arm spinner (clockwise)
Powered single arm spinner (anti-clockwise)

Inverted single arm spinner (clockwise)
Inverted single arm spinner (anti-clockwise)
Inverted powered single arm spinner (clockwise)
Inverted powered single arm spinner (anti-clockwise)

And what about timed checkpoints?
Checkpoints that are only activated for 10 seconds.
And timed powered checkpoints?
alanliu12121 11 years ago
  I agree with sherlock
Sherlock 11 years ago
But we can mix fake checkpoints and real checkpoints together, then make the level full of challenge. It is similar to the fake finish. Maybe this character will help to reform a good puzzle. :)

And also, hidden checkpoints sounds good, too. It is similar to the hidden finish.

(Players may be crazy about so many fakes then ^_^ Anyway, this is just an suggestion.)
Hexicube 11 years ago
That would require completely changing how the game works, so no.
alanliu12121 11 years ago
How about tiles that speed up or slow down the game? Not like the time accelerator and stoppers.
Hexicube 11 years ago
Added powered inverted spinners and 8 half blocks...

  Added inverted spinners...

"One more thing, the timed finished always disappeared in about 8.5 seconds. Hexicube can you repair this problem?"
That happens because the docs for making games for BL stated that games should run at 30fps, but they actually run at 35, so the game runs a bit faster than I intended...

Timed finishes can be achieved with some basic circuitry, the only reason the 10 'second' one is there is because it's a legacy tile from one of my older mouse avoiders.

Fake checkpoints are possible, but it could be obvious that they are fake because of the checkpoint remaining counter...
Sherlock 11 years ago
  Support gamelover's timed finish.
Idea Again:
1.Fake Checkpoints.
2.Imput Lower Letters o[-.-]o
3.Trailer
4.And then there were none. =.=

Idea: timed finishes where you can set the limit
alanliu12121 11 years ago
My next idea may be strange, but what about water? It can Mess up the level with wavy movement.
Sherlock 11 years ago
Alan, inputing password seems too strange... :)

One more thing, the timed finished always disappeared in about 8.5 seconds. Hexicube can you repair this problem?
gamelover101 11 years ago
Of course. I still remember those Die to Win days. ^_^
alanliu12121 11 years ago
Obviously... , to make it with out bugs is hard...
gamelover101 11 years ago
That would bring up a whole new world of possibilities. But I think there'd be bugs with it...
alanliu12121 11 years ago
What about movable walls that can be pushed with the mouse?

Edit: or moving it with the arrow keys?
Hexicube 11 years ago
Tile bombs can be made with metallic places or powered walls and some circuits...and password walls can also be done the same, but with a keyboard input tile and some complex circuitry...and I mean complex...

Also, I probably wont be adding skins.
alanliu12121 11 years ago
My next idea may be hard, but what about password powered walls?
azz 11 years ago
  Also for a good skin:
Desktop.

I'm planning on adding more to Path 4 Mouse sometime in the future, I would be willing to add any kind of idea provided its good and doesnt require re-writing the entire game. These ideas could be anything from tiles, gameplay objectives, skins, and other stuff.
Also, I wont be adding the names of who came up with the ideas...and remember I dont care how elaborate an idea is as long as its awesome enough!
