  I have IE8 as well and I did get it to work, but you have to click in the background area to the far right or left first before it will work.

  I tried zooming in with my browser, IE8, but it has no effect on the game.

  click outside of the game. To zoom in, press ctrl +. to zoom out, press ctrl -. to return to normal zoom, press ctrl 0. You must be warned that this is not part of the game and levels with this will most likely be rejected.

  You can't zoom in or out in the game. Only in your web browser.

  Most likely it's because of the problem mentioned by Jos, gameinsky and JP below.

  I have a problem. Whenever I try to test my level in editor mode. The background gives off a weird glow from the planets and none of my nodes or moons are on there so my level is pretty much useless. Is there anyway to fix this?

  Yup, you will have to delete the path and restart.

  There is one large probleme with the editor: if you accidentally delete a planete linked to a path, your level is failed.
