Topic, Game "Rolling Turtle"

  @TheNinja, the problem was about the size of the level and the time it takes for the game engine to interpret it. When the game engine has finished to interpret a level, it call a method to tell it to the BL API (it uses LocalConnection). And it seems that making too much things in one time frame (when interpreting the level) and calling the LocalConnection method at the end of this same frame, makes the LocalConnection to fail (don't know why, it looks like a flash bug). What I didn is just to add a delay after the level is interpreted to call the LocalConnection method in a different frame.

@cooltomer, there is a question in teh FAQ about being an admin. Why would you want to be admin if you don't really understand how it works ?

  i have a quick question for any admin, to become an admin do you need a history of game/level making at bonuslevel.org because for example i cannot make levels because i dont really understand.

  @THeNiNJa the problem was that after you reached the end of the level and yu clicked save it didnt go bak to the menu and it didnt show your score or comments on the right hand side

  OK the bug is corrected, Sires let us know if it works now. For me it worked.

  I have the same problem as Sires. It's a bug on my side, the reason being certainly something specific in the level. While I corect it, I've put back the level in edition state.

  minmay, that's what I thought at first, that it had been edited, but today it's still the same... when you reach the end, you click "save", and nothing happens. It doesn't go back to menu, it stays on the level screen. Also, on the right side, there are no comments and no highscores. Any idea?

  @gameinsky, why not but make a post on the level. A level is usually rejected when we feel that even after edition it will not be very good. but if you change many things on the level, of course it can be acceted.

  Well, it was edited a couple times, that might have been the cause of it.

  There seems to be a bug in the game... Level 43, "Pilot Turtle", appears every time as the lowest level not yet finished, even though I finished it like 4 times already today. It seems it has a problem with saving the score and the comments, as well.

  What do u need to do to become a tester, i'm curious...

  kakaka I sent you a PM, after trying to explain you again and again I'm bored and I don't play your levels anymore. Too many levels and too messy. I remove them systematically.
Work on a level for at least one week, then submit it with a good title and a good thumbnail, then I will play it. If I see a bad title or bad thumbnail, I don't even play it >> trash.

  For me that bad one, hoy few people the stuffs and if I do an orbit I send it in, it is kicked out always!

  It was a glitch but now it's a feature as it is used in many levels :)

  i found a glitch but im nto sure if u know of it yet, when u go onto the blue leaf and there are a bunch of green leafs around it the ball flies the direction the blue leaf is faced without accuely leting me press space bar so when i press space bar and the ball is already in the air it messes up everything and the ball goes the wrong direction which means you cant finish the level unless u press spacebar reeally quick.

  If you set a path with a split delay to activate by a path, the items the path is supposed to move will fly to all sides when the game starts. I know this is causing both me and birjolaxew troubles.

  Zakko don't worry you can go up to 10MB for the Flash settings without any problem. 10MB is almost nothing compared to 40GB ( 40 000 MB )! If you remove all your local levels that you have already uploaded, you will not use too much memory on your harddisk.
