  Yep thats right Asforien. It will be best if the switches touched before the last checkpoint was remembered, and only them before the checkpoint.

  It would be possible to restore the state of the paths. If I have time, I will add an option on paths "save state".

  I think if anything should be changed, the switches touched before the last checkpoint but not after should be remembered. Same thing could be done for stars. Actually I think it is possible, jp has done something similar with Hog Pop. But I don't think it's really that important.

  I think it will be to hard to code such a feature.

  jesperoland it is impossible to make the game remember what switch you have touched after you die.

  birjolaxew, the problem I was talking about is that if you die and restart from save point, then the game forgets the switches that you have already activated.

asforian, it's ok that the stars are gone when you die. In this case they should be gone, because I only want the player to have to get them once, even if he dies.

  To jesperoland: Then make MANY paths. If you got 4 stars make 4 paths. These paths all got to do the same except of that the dont have to same switch, put the switch of one of you paths to one of your stars and do that so all your stars are switches for a path. Now all the paths will move with the door and when you have all the stars the door wil open so you can get in (press g to turn off the grid so you can make the patch move so little whit the door that you have to take all the stars before you can get in)

  Usually, it's best not to use stars as switches because once you collect them the first time, and if you die, they're not there anymore. So the door won't open. It is feasible, however, if there are no checkpoints before that particular part of the level.

  Yeah thanks, I could do that. I would like to make a level though, where you have to collect some stars to be open the door to the goal, but they don't have to be collected in any specific order.

  If you want it to only move once, you can set a third path to move the second switch out of the way... confusing ^^ But moving it twice probably won't have a big effect on the level anyway.

  Yes it will make it go twice as far, but maybe you can make a patch that moves whit the switch so it get out of the map if you havent got the checkpoint

  Thanks, that's a good idea. It won't work for my level though, but actually it is pretty small so I don't really need any checkpoints I guess. But it would be nice if it's possible to add a feature to permanentily move a wall.

Also, wouldn't putting a switch at the checkpoint make the wall move twice as far, when you first reach the checkpoint, since it was already moved once from the first switch?

  You can't make it stay open, but you can link the door to another path, and place a switch at the checkpoint.

  I am trying to make a level. I use the path to move a line to open a door, and I use a star as a switch to start the movement. But how do you make the door stay open (make the line stay in it's final position), after the player has died and started from a save point?

  I have something even better. a new sofa! well not really but i do have an interesting idea if jp can manage: one-sided walls! there would be a missing border or something on the fall through side.

  Zakko600 it wont work for me! when i start make a little line, and then when it is orange, move it back to where i started it just disappear!

  make a line a little line with grid. Now the line will be yellow. Click and the line will be orange. Drive the mouse back when you started and a lillte dot will came from. Now click 2*
