Topic, Game "Rolling Turtle"

  I would be glad to help administrate around here, but I probably shouldn't since I haven't been here that long.

  I did read the FAQ and i can't see anything aout exp points...

  They are calculated when you finish a level, I don't think it shows you, though. If not then I have no idea. But I can tell you were to find your EXP points

  Can some please tell me how exp points are calculated/if there is somewhere that will tell me how they are calculated?

  I made a lot of good levels and they dont show up in online or local, i submitted them. What happend?
And i made a levvel were you hit a break line and it turns green like the turtle.
I cant make a fully invisible line, theres always a small part left.

  I agree with Gamemaster, but with one qualification: you need to have designed at least one level that has been accepted (at least blue-boxed, if not yellow) in order to be an administrator. That shows that you not only have skills at *playing* the game, but have sufficient design knowledge to carry out the job.

  I aggree with you, Gamemaster. The way administrators are chosen is just discrimination. JP, you should change the way they are picked.

  being an administrator shouldn't be about how good your levels are it should be about how many levels someone has completed and experience points.

  i have a idea for another contest how about we all vote on our favorite RT game designer and maybe jp can make another prize. and maybe the deadline can be at the end of this month January 31st

  I will just add to the list of comments saying that i would like to be part of the admin people, but yeah theres a lot of people who are better at playing and designing levels than me, so allgood if not.

  I'd like to be admin, it's okay if I'm not, though. I bet I won't be chosen, cuz my levels suck. }:P

  The sticky line and the bouncy lines are a good ideas. That way the turtle could roll on the ceiling and sideways. Or instead of the line being invisible, how about it's a light blue colored line that makes the turtle invisible!
Well, yellow is speed, black is dead, normal is green, and red and black is break. So light blue would be invisible turtle!

  i like the idea too. and maybe also you would be able to stick under it.. like jump up and hang onto it and roll.. like anti-gravity =)

  I got an idea for this game:

There should be a line that makes you bounce automatic. Also there should be a line that is invisible and a line that is sticky (you'll be unable to jump)

  One can't rate it's own leel.
About Silius suggestion, I think it's agood idea to introduce a rating power that depends on the EXP points of your profile.

  yeah I know oggologgo, but I don't think that the difference is very big...

  I think people should have to complete a level to rate it because you can be playing a level and get really fustrated with it because you cant win but once you have got it you see that it was actaully a very well designed and thought out level.
