Topic, Introduce yourself | ||||||

You must register or log in to post a message.[edit jp] Oops yes I had forgotten NinjaDagger, sorry Ninja (thx Jac1). now sprite and cola freak make their entrys... and stil peoples are not introducing theirselves , i think that because people are being to lazy... You have explained two times, and Captain_404 has made an example. People just can't be bothered to read, so they just look at the title of the topic, and post 'Hi!' or something like that. This is similar to the problem we have with people asking to be testers on games that are dead and will probably never be played by the public. I remember a few years ago when I was new to using forums and communities. I joined Flashkit and made a topic about ragdolls. Then I just searched for other topics about ragdolls and posted links on all the topics. I did not bother to read important things like the date, and I was posting on topics that were over three years old. I only did that because I had never really used a forum before, and I didn't know how to behave appropriately on one. Some people don't learn from mistakes like I did, and I think this will always be a problem which we cannot fix. Anyway I don't want this kind of member on BL. I think people are more cautionous and respectful when they paid for it, so this can be a way to solve this. captain404 made an example , cause 'hi' hello' is like Jp said very short Hey everyone! I'm Captain_404, and I'm one of the game developers here on BL. I've been making games for a bout 4 years now and it's something that I've only grown to enjoy more over time. I also enjoy other creative pursuits, such as playing my guitar, writing, or even making digital art. Please take the time to say more than "I'm new". We expect you to come here because you're new, but we'd like to know more about you. This gives us a better idea about how you and helps giving a good first impression. Before posting a message on BL : * Read the FAQ * A forum is not a chat. Take the time to construct clear messages. If you write your messages very clearly and make it easy for people to see how they fit into the discussion, then it's more likely people will read and consider your messages. Everyone will find it easier to follow what's going on. Also don't forget to visit the chat(if you can), it's a place where people can help you. | GeneralFirst post of the topicPlease take the time to say more than "I'm new".
