Yeah, I also like dogs. I had a pet dog named Buddy that me and my mom met in 2001, my stepdad Keith owned him starting in 1996. Sadly Buddy died in 2009, he tried to cross the road to get a frisbee and got killed by a moving car.

I’m also a dog person. As I’m fairly young, I’d say I’m a bit biased due to growing up with a dog, but in any case I don’t know if I’d want a pet when I’m older.

What is your favorite pet? Mine is a dog.

Thank you CG52 for the kind words, and I hope you and your family are doing well and are safe from the pandemic.

I hope that your mother’s biopsy goes well and that the cancer is treatable.

As for lemonade. I enjoy it at any time of year. I’m the kind of person that would eat or drink something people think of as seasonal all year round.
chris3000 6 months ago
Do any of you like lemonade during the summertime?

I love the smell of fresh pancakes and topping them with maple syrup.

Yes, she's doing okay. I'm just worried about her now that she has ovarian cancer. She has to have a biopsy done in 2 weeks so they can determine what Stage the cancer is, and her tumor/mass is 18-centimeters long. It's serious and life-threatening.

  That's really fortunate, CG.

Chris, is your mom wel healthy? I hope she gets better. I wish we could live in a plastic-free world.

I think a lot of it comes from after finishing my degree, I was very burnt out from doing maths at all - so I hardly did any for a while after. After a few months to a year I've fully 'recovered' from it xD

SPOILER
I do enjoy doing those kinds of puzzles. That one specifically relates to Centered Polygonal Numbers (in this case Centered Hexagonal Numbers), and I think learning how to work out the U(n) in a recurrence relation if U(0)=a, U(n)=U(n-1)+bn is an interesting exercise. There are non-centered ones (triangular and square numbers are very commonly discussed types of numbers, and triangular numbers can be used to solve for U(n) as above), and also numbers that are based on 3D shapes, obviously cube numbers but other platonic solids as well. At some point studying them gets too abstract (and too pointless) for a lot of people.

You are a master of math, You are very active in mathematics and understand the quizzes completely! I used to be all in on math and puzzle games because I got interested in them quite a while back. but it seems like you are more interested in math than I was, recently.

@all: Hexagon Game Icon Image was created by GeoGebra. I recommend this website to anyone who likes geometric design.

I think it is best to find an nxn hexagon and just assume that we may extend from positive integers to other number that lengths usually cannot be.

SPOILER
H(1)=1, H(n+1)=H(n)+6n
H(n)=6n(n-1)/2+1=3n^2-3n+1

H(0)=1 (this makes no intuitive sense, with zero length there should be zero area)
H(-1)=7 (???)
H(i)=-2-3i

These numbers don’t make sense, and I’m sure there’s other numbers you can match up to the original puzzle, but that is the method I found.

nice! but Ridiculous and Bizarre Quiz(what's Gag): Let the area of a 1x1 hexagon be 1; FIND 0×0, -1×-1 and i×i Hexagon"s area
Coolguy52 6 months ago
Maybe I don't understand the puzzle, but:

SPOILER
I think the areas you want are 7 and 19, so 2 and 14 more than the 5 you start with should be enough to make these hexagons.

  Quiz, l have 5 Hexagon Pieces (1x1),
How many more 1x1 Hexagon Pieces will I need to make a 2x2 Hexagon?
How many more 1x1 Hexagon Pieces will I need to make a 3x3 Hexagon?
both hexagon areas are prime numbers of 1x1 Hexagon Pieces

I'm semi back after a month break, I've been incredibly busy lately. Finally got some spare time this weekend. My favorite dessert is frosted doughnuts and oatmeal cream pies.
