Topic, Game "Jump Gear 2"

  We did it! 2 million plays on Jump Gear 2! I'm so glad that we hit this milestone, it's one which we as a community have been incredibly close to over the past decade, and one which I honestly thought there was a chance that we'd never hit it! I will try to make a level in celebration - just like kalina and Simon did for BLockoban's 1 million milestone.

  Belated congratulations on becoming an admin @Coolguy52 ;)!

  Oh so August 2020 will be your two year anniversary. Nice, i'm lucky i have an admin role now.

  I became admin in August 2018 - it’s crazy to think that it’s been over a year now since I was given admin...

  So CG, when did you become admin? I just noticed the orange G next to your username.

  There's been some serious competition going on here. Hopefully when I get my computer I can join the fun. Hope you all are staying safe.

  Popo is certainly one of the best players to have ever played the game, he was absolutely fearless and would attempt any trick in order to get that edge over everyone. The vast majority of popo’s highscores stand strong - I don’t think there’s a single other player who can really say this, as it’s often him stealing our highscores. One of the best memories was popo’s highscore in Portal (one of the very few which has been beaten) - and him utterly shutting down my best highscore to that point! I feel bad that I didn’t mention him, he is definitely an insane player who gave us all a run for our money.

Thinking back all those years is insane. I was the lowest player to have completed all the officials at one point. I’m not sure where I got the inspiration to start the journey - but I know I would’ve given it up if it wasn’t for popo chasing me up to 7M - and me chasing you when I got there. A great moment from that era was when I was closing in on you for the first time around 8.04M - and you managed to improve 98k on one level - which shocked and scared me when I saw it! There have been many other great mini-rivalries over various levels and things - I think it was inevitable when I began to close in on you, due to our history with the Mini Games!

As for RT - I think that I will come back to keep things fresh. I hope that I can beat more of the officials, in order to get maybe top 20 or top 10. I don’t think I’ll ever make 27k, you have some scores which are completely unmatchable xD

  Can everyone look around for my jaw please? I think I dropped it... Congratulations CG this is an incredible achievement, I'm completely over the moon for you! From what started as a friendly battle to get into the top 10 all those years ago, here we are now - top 3, I'm so glad I could be a part of this! Never thought I'd see the day tbh.. well not until recent times anyway! I think a shoutout needs to go to popo too, despite his absence, for all the great competition he gave us and to reach top 5, I believe he still holds a few highscores too :P

Maybe you could return to RT again? I think I'm a competition addict, and you've already proved you've got the skill! :P

  I finally managed the 9 million. I’m actually completely astonished, the last few thousand were ridiculous to grind for. I’m amazed that we as a community have come so far, due to all the insane grinds, epic highscores and ingenious strategies that allowed 9 million to be achieved. This journey has been amazing - thanks to every player, every innovator, every highscorer and every champion! It’s wild that I’ve got this score at all.

Special shoutouts to PineappleDude and Dynamo for some of those crazy scores and insane stretches of domination. If it wasn’t for either of you I don’t think that 9M would have ever happened - I doubt we’d even have hit 8.6M by now if either of you didn’t play, and I wish you both the greatest luck if you go for 9M!

Not sure what to do now - but I know that I don’t really want to pursue a higher score immediately, 9.1M is the next milestone and that is just beyond crazy. I think I’ll try to get a higher score on the Global pack - or maybe create levels again, anyway I hope that some crazy person can eventually continue the journey (and maybe we could even get more officials?). Finally, thanks to everyone again for the amazing journey - I’m truly grateful!

  It's 100% possible how it currently is chris, there's still a possible 10k timesave up for grabs that only keithy has been able to pull off, plus multiple other smaller optimisations on other levels.

  Congratulations. There would probably have to be a few more official levels in order for people to get over 9 million points.

  8.98M! I know that just seems like an arbitrary line in the sand - but this score is a very crazy score for me to achieve - because when I started this journey 2 years ago (just looking for 6M and some friendly competition with popo at the time), this is approximately the sum of all highscores from that time (I first calculated it to be 8,985,781 - but that included things like the static skybase cheat which saved 4k when supergeek had the highscore)! This truly sounds ridiculous to say - as I doubted that I would ever get past 6M at one point, but I got here somehow. This truly symbolises that I'm on the home stretch! Let's do this :D

  I don't know if I can make it. I'll feel like I can at 8.98 or maybe 8.99... good luck whatever you decide to do, I'm sure that we'll all make it there (and hopefully beyond!)

  You're literally 35k away from 9 million, this is actually ground breaking stuff I'm so excited, I might have to get back into this battle! :D

  Even if you’ve lost a few of your highscores - you still have some strongholds left which I don’t think I’ll ever beat. I’ve been trying to get closer (could get a combined 4 or 5k without even getting the highscore). I think that they are some of the strongest highscores in this game!

  Wow, this is an epic battle going way. Hopefully I can join in the near future. I'm ordering my laptop this week. Hopefully it will be here by Thursday or Friday.

  I still have two levels where I am awfully far behind - Static Skybase and Block world. I think if I manage to get a good score on both I'll be close! :D

  Well done PineappleDude! I would say that 25k is a healthy enough lead for now, but I think you have just gained that over less than a week. I think I might have to get back at it to keep my head above the water...

I also think that it’s not completely impossible that someone catches me. I think both you and PD could catch up to my score. I think you’d have to match or beat a lot of my newer highscores though.

  I can honestly say there's absolutely no catching you now CG, round of goddamn applause for the perseverance that went into this epic WIP highscore. 9 mil is so in your sights at this pace! :D

  I saw the shortcut in World of Snakes, however it takes a lot of practice and skill to master. Anyways someone tried to hack my credit card. See, I went to MSN and accidentally clicked on an article that had a virus. I found a company called Technest Solutions.

They put a few programs on my laptop, but it turns out it was a scam, They put a virus and tried to hack my laptop, I shut it down. My mom and dad are going to Best Buy to get it fixed by the Geek Squad. We're also buying another laptop so we'll have 2. I for me and 1 for my parents. I'm excited, this will be my second laptop.

  Been trying to beat Cablesnake using the same technique and I keep getting hit by lethal at the end with a better score (stars). Don't know if anyone else gets a weird rush when they beat the ghostrider.

  I never use the restart glitch because everytime I do, I have to refresh the page and start over.
