Topic, Game "BLockoban"

  This game refuses to load for me.

  This is one crazy puzzle game. And by crazy i mean HARD! Its extremely fun

  Jyxz, I used a hand written list and recorded my scores when I first began playing. There are so many levels now that I have resorted to using the menu display and list only the ones I haven't solved. Someone else might give you a better idea.

P.S. I realize that BL is the beginning spelling of BLockoban yet I have an inkling that BL may also represent "Bonus Level". (see the main header on this page)

  Boogiebee, BL means blockoban? Yeah if I can help I will, I don't really have level making experience I've tried a few times submitting my own levels that I had fun solving.

  Mainly I'm just trying to give level creators feedback, so we get better levels in the future, sorry if it annoys you, not my intent.

  Yes, my dear friend boogiebee. Old levels deserve comment if you improve the score, for example.

  Re:"Productive comments" Pauloalex. I agree Paulo it's disappointing to view a comment and not find a better score or some 'challenge' being posted. A level that has been in existence for months, has hundreds of plays need not be 'flamed'.

  In my opinion, Jyxz, you are a spammer. I have 136 comments since dec 20 2008, and you have 145 comments since jun 30 2009. Why you not did productive comments? Ps. I'm not offending you, I'm just giving my opinion. Nevertheless, I admire you, because it is not easy to complete all official levels.

  A 4500000 moves level is impossible to make IMO besides if you continual do the same moves to solve a level...

  Haha, ironically I actually don't see any I would reject, I think as long as a level is solvable it should be accepted because hey whats wrong with having more levels, but at the same time there are OCD people out there like me who want to solve every level, so if you make a puzzle which has 600 move solution and not once do you have to use your mind to solve it, yes I will reject it, even if it looks like the mona lisa.
Also there is a difference in being a critic and an admin... as a critic I just give my honest opinion in the hope it will be used to improve the overall quality of the game.. being and admin means I have to be fair consider what the community wants in new levels etc. etc. as much as I pretend not to notice that most people who play this game prefer easy levels for a quick snip of fun while they wait around for a bit, completing a lot of levels over time, I realize that is in fact the case... but I also consider the fact the people really interested in the game should have opinions that are heavily weighted too. In short I know how to be fair.

Edit: I also understand the low score factor it is a different game, to me its about solving them not going for the low score... but I understand SOME levels are really only able to be enjoyed when your going for score, which is reasonable, but going for score on a level with 600 move solution is like cleaning paint off glass...

  Jyxz, if you were admin half of my levels wouldnt probably be accepted, as they arent hard as i can complete them and the fun is in getting low score usually. And you dont find that fun so they would get rejected probably =P

  Id be an admin if the position was available to me.

edit: tho i care a lot more for hard levels then when people are drawing pictures with the blocks, (when a level combines both it makes a great level, but just a huge picture doesn't really appeal to me.)

  I am also of the opinion that more administrators would definitely help in clearing what seems to be a backlog of constructed levels, however of the several players that may be capable, either none have volunteered or for some reason they were not employed. It's a thankless job for the most part and right now Asforien is carrying all the baggage. :)

  Yeah I just dont see the harm in having more admins to be honest... and I think commentating on levels is very important, gotta get more of the good stuff, and no more move the red block to the right the blue block up, YOU WON! As for experience boogie what do you mean?? I've solved almost every level... (many before I even made my account so they arent counted but still over 300 since then)

  yup, jyxz comments all the levels he tries =) which is a good thing imo, as far as he remembers that levels asking a level to be changed after one year of the creating of that level is just stupid =P but im happy, atleast someone comments my levels

  Hello Elizea, I wasn't serious about the admin job. I was just taking a jab at him for generating so many senseless comments. More than 600 players over the past one or two years have generated 46 pages of comments and our friend Jyxz has produced 13 pages , now that is really GOOD ! =-D

  If you are bucking for an administrators position you might address JP, the game creator. Looking at the archives, I see that you have about 13 pages of critiques since you began on June 30 , now that is a lot of experience, however I don't think you can even get experience points for that.!!!!!!!!
