  Since i can't solve many more levels, i decided i'm going to create them, can you guys help me think of something. I think i have learned every trick of blockoban.

  You mean beat my score on that particular level chris? Cause you certainly could I was just moving blocks wherever I felt like didn't take one moment to think about lowest moves hahaha. (maybe I should have.) And sycoraximperator! I was trying to keep that a secret sigh... I don't want people knowing I am an addict. Freaking Elizea put out a challenge and I accepted it. Thanks for noticing my hard work tho =P.

  I hereby declare Jyxz as the ultimate BB player. Take a look at "Slide puzzle" and you all know what i mean... Anyone better? :-)

  Chris, one thing at a time. It took me a while to complete all the levels but BB is more than just a completion game. It is about optimizing and I have left many many levels unoptimized which means a lot more work. To be honest I started designing after I had completed most of the levels available just ot get the feel of the game and try to figure out what's all about.....(plus there were not any more to play so i had to satisy my appettite Now, thinking backwards, as I'm not aware of which levels need optimization, i'd rather be in your position where you can go through again and again the levels figuring out the best solution and once you feel comfortable with your way of thinking and playing i'm sure you will become a great designer yourself. Some pretty good signs are already provided by your great accepted no worries and no disappointment. As already said in previous msgs WE R ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. And to be honest I personally count on you to bring fresh ideas and bring the game in a next level. You are young full of will and TIME...hehe... so move on and don't look what's ahead of you. One thing at a time.

  I'll try my very best to make good levels and to complete other ones, but i'm not doing very good with that. Almost 700 lvls completed also, but sadly i have over 1200 left to solve.

  Yw G. I usually give the credit where it belongs and I wanted to come clean. Never implied you are a I'd never do that. It was just that PA was coming up strong the last few days with new levels and some of yours were initially passed as PA's. My mistake for which I apologize.You both - and all designers of course - keep us in this good mood.

  I have to confess smth to PA and Gundu. I have been playing and enjoying lots of PA's games lately and i thought I could tell beforehand if a level is designed by PA or not (same applies to OMG's and Murat's levels). The late Gundu's levels have really troubled me in that I thought all of them were PA's. I would bet they came from the same person. Well designed, groups all over, tricky moves, hard to optimize and very well thought levels. In other words my respects to both of you for providing us new, fresh challenges and sorry apologies for the mistake.

  Thanks Elizea, even though you just give us a lot more work (some of it VERY VERY boring!) But we like problemsolving, even on crappy levels!

  Adding all rejected levels on the rejected levels pack. Won't take very long (there are already nearly 100 new ones waiting for you guys!).

edit: all 300 rejected BB levels are there now, enjoy =]

  Thnx J. Trying hard to design levels just for you guys (especially nelson lately) to sweep them and having me sweating to reach your scores...hehe. As long as you guys are happy I will keep designing. For the newcomers allow me to say that I always value comments more than unjustified good or bad rating and I would really appreciate and welcome all kind of comments (especially bad ones).

In a few words please comment at least for a bad critic spare some time to write it down. It makes me better and therefore improves the game.

  I think i worry too much about the level ratings. Maybe i should take a break from making levels.

  I am not the best level creator but if any new creators are wondering what makes a level good I want to share my thought process when creating a level.

For every tile set size increase past 10x10: -1 point
For every tile set size increase past recommended: -2
For every block used past 4: -1
For every bind block (so they move together): -4
For every vulnerability (something in your level which if the player doesnt pay attention to he won't be able to solve it): +2
For common tricks like needing a block to stop another block on a target: +1 point
For every rarely seen TRICK it takes to solve a level: +20
For a new trick never seen before in blockoban: +250

I am not sure if these will help or not but just some things to keep in mind when your creating, don't worry about point values but just think, ok if I add 10 blocks here am I adding enough to the level to justify it? Or I know I can make my levels hard by attaching all the blocks but am I adding enough tricks to justify their usage?

  sound on / off added (burfy's feedback).
16 official levels now. All levels are great. I must say I'm a big fan of Psychotronic's levels (thx Psycho). When a level is "only" accepted, it doesn't mean it will not be official one day, it's just I'm not sure for now.
